 To become a writer
 Elena lost her parents in an accident and not too long afterwards she learned that Stefan saved her and that she was adopted. Learning that her biological parents was actually her uncle and a vampire (her history teacher's wife) came as quite a shock. Since meeting Stefan her world has turned upside down; she's been introduced to all types of supernatural entities and things just keep coming at her. Currently she's lost all her family except for her younger brother, Jeremy, they only have each other left as everyone she loves seems to die. An her life has only just gotten more chaotic as Stefan gave himself over to Klaus and Elena is becoming confused about her attraction to Damon. She's very confused and with her birthday just around the corner she's almost scared to find out what will happen next.
